Play Park

Following a recent inspection of play park equipment, the swing set and timber climber (with net) has now been removed. The inspection found significant decay to the supports and was deemed unsafe. The equipment was purchased about fifteen years ago with monies raised by children of Foxholes, (who were part of the Youth Community Volunteers scheme), and also monies received from Commuted Sums (this is a term used for money received from housing developers and is used for the purpose of improving the area where new homes have been built).
The Parish Council appreciates the importance of having an area for children to play but, regrettably, due to lack of funds, it is not possible to replace the equipment at this time.

Play Park Committee

The Play Park Committee needs new members!
If your children use the play park, then why not help out to ensure that the area and equipment are kept safe. Help to organise fund raising to enable new equipment to be purchased (a Sports Day was previously held and proved very successful). If you would like to volunteer to become a member of the Play Park Committee, please contact any of the Parish Council Members.
